Books & Other Learning Materials
Each Earth Creativity School custom 12-week class uses several books in addition to other resources such as DVDs, CDs, magazines, and processes. All possible resources are listed here in the library along with links to the author's website when known. Most of the books contain activities or exercises that you will complete in your 12-week class. At the end of each week, we will discuss the experiences that you had while completing the assigned activities or exercises as well as your results.
The authors of these materials are your teachers along with your own experiences and discoveries during the process of completing the activities described in the books. After we design a custom 12-week class for you, you will receive a list of the books, CDs, and DVDs that you need to purchase for your class.
Earth Creativity School does not sell these materials. You are responsible for buying them. If you request it, as a free service, Kay will buy the materials for you at cost to save you time.
Independent Study
If you feel that you cannot afford the $240 tuition to take a 12-week class with the support of a learning facilitator, you can use the resources listed in this section to complete the work on your own. However, like anything that you do alone, it is much harder to do it without support.
To complete the work on your own, choose a teaching book that sounds attractive to you, and work through the activities in the book on your own. It will not help you to simply read the activities, you must actually do them. Record your results in an activity journal for later discussion with a facilitator once you have manifested the money to take a 12-week class.
In addition, keep a dream journal and a day journal. The day journal is for recording significant feelings, signs, and events. Date all entries in all three journals, and give each entry a title. Later, you can choose entries to discuss with your learning facilitator.
"The animal world has much to teach us. When we learn to speak with the animals, to listen with animal ears and to see through animal eyes, we experience the phenomna, the power, and the potential of the human essence, and it is then that the animals are no longer our subordinates. They become our teachers, our friends, and our companions. They show us the true majesty of life iteslf. They restore our forgotten childlike wonder at that world, and they reawaken our lost belief in magic, dreams, and possibilities." –Ted Andrews
